Graphite Design has been the number one Shaft on both the Mens and Ladies Japanese pro tour for over 5 years running by a very very large margin. They have a large following among recreational and amateur golfers as well based on their wide offering of shafts to fit all kinds of swings and players. Please provide the following information:

Straight and more kick With a bad shot right and if you're looking for higher ball flight, your best bet is the Quattro Tech 65 Stiff. It's very smooth and low kicking which will give you added trajectory and carry. Definitely more feel than the YS6+. |

It may give you slightly lower ball flight than the TP7 and slightly higher than the Blue (hopefully that is the case that the TP7 is launching higher than your Blue!) xchangman has a similar swing speed to yours and is using the MD7 X-stiff with good success. I don't think you'd need to tip the MD. |

The stock shaft is bit too whippy. Hi there, to bring your ball flight down and take the left out of play, as well something that is not "whippy", I'd recommend the PT-7 Stiff, which happened to be the most used Driver shaft on the JPGA in 2007. 72g firm tip and very stable mid section. That would really match up well to the Superquad and give you a more piercing trajectory. |

Swing Speed (mph or m/s) : 93 - 98 mph
Driver distance (yds) : 220-240 yds (carry) Tempo (Slow, Reg, Fast) : Reg Transition (Smooth, Reg, or Quick) : Reg Wrist lag (Minimal or Lots) : not much Usual ball flight (Low, Medium, High) : high Desired Flight (Low, Medium, High) : medium Desired Weight (60g, 70g, 80g range) : 60 g Bad shot (Right or Left) : hook or draw(not controlled) Current shaft specs (if available) : Stock shaft from Fujikura (http://www.srixon.com/club_drivers.html) What are you looking for in a shaft? I just bought a Srixon z-rw 9.5. I'm trying to increase the distance and reduce the dispersion. smooth feeling. not heavy one. *One more thing: I've never used premium shaft yet except Fujikura 660tr. I like Fujikura shaft, but have no idea the feeling about different brand. I like buttery feeling and dynamic action. Would you recommend which brand would be good for that too? Thanks in Advance!!! I would say that Graphite Design and Axiv have shafts that produce far more feel than the Fuji 660TR. Based on your info, for GD I'd suggest a Quattro Tech MD6 SR flex. You have a reg tempo and transition but you're hooking the ball so you may have more of a release than you think. The MD6 will help take the left side out of play with its firm mid section and give you a flatter trajectory with it's strong mid kick resulting in more roll. The lower torque will also help in the dispersion department. Another option would definitely be an Axiv X 6062 or 5062 if you want to go a little lighter. Another mid kicking shaft with very stable mid section and smooth controlled kick. |

Hi, I just got Quattro Tech MD7 X-flex and put in my Titleist 905S 8.5. I inserted the shaft only 2", not fully insert. The result is ball goes a bit too high. So do you think if I put this shaft fully insert, would it be stiffer and make a ball flight lower? Or should I tip it? My swing detail is below.
Swing Speed (mph or m/s) 115-120 Driver distance (yds) 290-300 yds carry Tempo (Slow, Reg, Fast) Reg to Fast Transition (Smooth, Reg, or Quick) Reg to Quick Wrist lag (Minimal or Lots) Lots Usual ball flight (Low, Medium, High) High Desired Flight (Low, Medium, High) Medium to Low Desired Weight (60g, 70g, 80g range) 70g-80g Bad shot (Right or Left) Left Current shaft specs (if available) Diamana Blue 73X tipped 1/2", Tour AD W70 X tipped 1" What are you looking for in a shaft? Smooth kick and lower spin. Thank you. |

At your swingspeed, I'd tip it half an inch like your Diamana Blue, though the MD will naturally launch higher THAN the Blue.
