(IMG:style_emoticons/TSG_Smileys/tsg_smiley_question.gif) I say no. Tough to predict conditions, but my feeling is that the Bay Hill layout- which is a GREAT track btw will slow him down. Look out for the Aussie Posse!.. just a vibe but feeling Allenby, Appz or Baddz- one of those guys will be in the top 10 for sure.

I don't see Tiger losing a tournament this year. I know that's one bold statement, but he's on mission unlike any other player ever in the history of the game. I really do see him being unbeatable this year.

despite the US open track favoring him this year (btw and next year too).... he will lose a few tournaments this year..... Bay hill ...no.... also he wont win four majors this year..... two probably... three.... possibly but four .... definately not.

just can't emphasize enough how amazing those two closing shots were. i've played there a million times- several in tournament conditions, and let me just say that those two shots rank right up there in terms of odds/difficulty to Watson's chip-in at Pebble. you could sit there and empty your bag trying to duplicate those shots back-to-back...that was phoenomenal. it really would be incredible if he could run the table. vegas odds are 10-1 on the grand slam and 6-1 for 3 majors and 8-5 for the Masters. there is a superhero aura when Tiger is in form that approaches a surreal level of "that anything is possible" that we have seen. will he ride the wave undefeated?... it goes against the immortal words of Mr. Hogan- when you consider the game's variables, life's variables and other players being in top form in a given week. But on the other hand, maybe this is THE YEAR where he takes the scoring average to 66 instead of 69.whatever, wins the grand slam and just crushes-- i don't think it will happen, but i guarantee you that's the way he's looking at it. i dig that and it's going to be fun to watch. |

I watched that final putt and just couldn't believe it. Its almost like his video game where you use "Tiger Vision" to sink a putt. How I would love to be able to manipulate time and match Tiger against some of the former greats such as Nicklaus and Hogan among others. Tiger just simply is getting better which is really hard to fathom but an absolute delight to watch. Others talk about how Tiger is on TV way too much and they want to watch other golfers. I don't care to watch other golfers. I only want to see Tiger. I love to watch his focus and determination. Just unreal.

when I work with people on their respective games, we take a multi-faceted approach- improve the technique, improve the training (applied practice operandi, physical training, body choreography and some other things) and tactical applications. the thing is, many TOUR players have technique just as good and in some cases better than Tiger-
but NOBODY trains or practices HARDER AND SMARTER- that's been the difference. all the tactical things he learned from Butch starting from his rookie year combined with the focus that his dad ingrained early... the Acuity of focus and the killer instinct he has is non-parallel. the other thing to boot is- he's so far ahead of the curve with all the factors I have mentioned here that not only is everyone else "trying" to catch up with these different facets- but he's gotten to a point where he is able to let the artistry come out. it would be cool if Tiger 360 was a televised option during the rounds...... |
