Lots of stuff

As everyone knows I love using graphite in my irons.

So I was thrilled to see Mitsubishi's new iron and hybrid offerings for 2008.

Brand new Diamana Thump iron and hybrid shafts as well as new Bassara iron shafts.

To be released in April!

What's in the Bag?:
Check Out My Sig!

The new Diamana Thump Shafts for Irons and Hybrids will be available this April at TSG.

The Hybrid Shaft has a 93 gram weight in S and 103 in X

The Thump Iron in S flex is 94 grams #2-W while the X flex is 107g.

Nice weights for graphites if you ask me.

The only info they had on the Fubuki is that its currently under PGA testing and a release date is undetermined.

The Diamana iron shafts are made for the hard hitter and fast swinger.... the high kick points and low steel like torque are made for a more piercing trajectory and very tight dispersion.

For me I'm looking at the Bassara line which are 64g for R flex and 74g for S flex.

thump! gorgeous. i was leaning towards ozik iron shafts until these appeared. now i have to decide which is more suitable.

the diamanas are simply gorgeous, but the oziks come custom made anyway you want ...hmnnn.

i must say these will go fantastically with the 2 whiteboards and 2 blueboards i have in the bag.

and i can finally replace the tour-ad iron shafts!

For durability and aesthetic reasons, it appears that they will NOT be ion plated. Prices haven't been announced yet, but my guess is in the Tour AD range. (around $80-100 a shaft)
