What's in the Bag?:
Titleist D2 Aldila VS proto 65 stiff
Srixon I506 irons -TT Black Gold Regular Hardstepped
Hogan Bettinardi putter
Titleist Vokey 55 Raw sandwedge With WRX tour grind Black Golf stiff
Cleveland 52 gap wedge with Rifle spinner stiff

I have been trying to decide on a shaft for my X-drive head. I ahve been looking at the Fuji rombax 6xo5. Their cpm advertised for regular is 262 with 2.2 or so torque rating and 276 I think for stiff. Are they really that stiff or am I missing something?

What's in the Bag?:
Bag #1
Epon AF101 with Machline 7061 Proto
Miura 5W with Machline 7061
Honma Duel Attack 19*
Lepon 23* w/Machline 65
Matsumoto 4-pw with AXIV Graphite
Epon 50* AW
Yururi 57* SW
Hiro Matsumoto MG 8 / Whitlam Devon SPI-3

Where did you see the cpm listed? Firstly the torque rating for 6x05 is 3.4 on the US site and if you see the cpm on a Japanese language site, you have to discount by approx. at least 10-15 cycles due to 7 inch clamp. I have a shaft/club tested in Japan and the cpm was 268 and retested using a 5 inch clamp, the cpm was 252. I suspect the 6x05 S would be in the range of 250 to 260 for a 45" 200g head.

Mizuno Craft 425 9.5* TourAD MD6 Epon AF-201 15* TourAD 9003S
Adams Idea gold 18* Matrix Altus
Mizuno Fli-hi 24* 4-iron NSPro 950
Mizuno MP-60 5-PW NSPro 950
Epon X-model 52*/ 58* NSPro 950
Cameron Red X3 1/500 34/340

I don't think they play as stiff as you would think just by looking at those CPMs. I never put much stock in CPMs since there are different methods for measuring. I've had the 6X07 in stiff flex and it was softer than I expected.

For what it is worth, just checked a Japanese site and it listed a X Drive installation with 6x05 S. While it did not specify which x drive head, the head weight is 195 g at 45", sw is D2.5 and total weight is 319g with a 50 g grip. The CPM is 262 on a 7 inch clamp. BTW, Fuji Japan lists the torque as 3.3 for 6x05.
