For those knowledgeable about JDM irons, is there such an alloy as 1070? I know about 1020 and 1025 but never heard of 1070. I got this from a Japanese magazine but of course, I could not read it and not sure whether it was referring to alloy but it relates to irons specs.

1070 steel is equivalent to S70C and is a high carbon steel. Never heard of it being used in clubs but then again there are tons of different steels out there.
