TSG and Rekindled Memories

By idrive

Once upon a time their was a young boy who was very fortunate to be able to
go to the Golf Course and spend time with his Father. He learned the game
from him and enjoyed their time together Golfing, more than any other
activity.

The time spent together was very memorable and has never been forgotten. The
young boys dream was to one day play well enough to beat his Father. As they
played year after year at the age of 16 the son had worked hard to steadily
improve his game over the years and felt this was the year he was going to finally get him.

Just as the Golfing season started his Father passed away unexpectedly.
The boy was devastated as his Father was the most important person in his
life. He had tremendous respect for him and had always wanted to be just
like him. Being the Golfer of the family our 16 year old was given his
Fathers clubs. They were a new Set of Wilson Staff X-31's that had been
special ordered from the factory, custom built for his Father. The clubs
were cherished beyond imagination.

After a couple of months went by our 16 year old went to the Golf course
to play with his friend and was determined to play a sensational round in
memory of his Father. He played better than he had ever thought possible and
knew it was because his Father was watching and helping him with every shot.
That night the boy was telling his Mother of his game that day as he laid
out the clubs to admire and clean them.

The 7 iron was gone. The boy was devastated. He went to the Golf Course
day after day after day hoping the club would show up. It never did. He quit
playing the game for a long time because he couldn't stand that he had been
so careless to lose a Golf club that had belonged to his Father and had been
given to him as a lasting memory.

After many years our now middle aged man thought that perhaps it was
time for him to get back into the game. He began searching for that special
set of clubs that would make him feel the way he felt about the clubs that
had been his Fathers. He knew they were going to have to be very special. He
bought set after set trying to get that feeling that was so special. Just
didn't happen until one day he stumbled across clubs that had been hand
crafted in Japan. They brought a strange sensation as he handled and admired
them. He knew that this is what he was looking for. The search was on for
that special set that would be built for him and bring back the memories of
the times when we played with his Father.

Touspecgolf has been the medium that has brought these new clubs. Each
time a new club or set of clubs arrive they rekindle the cherished moments
and memories of days gone by. I doubt Touspecgolf has any idea how much joy
and satisfaction they have brought and bring to this person. Now, the
passion is back. Golf is back into and a large part of his life again. The
memories have returned and are remembered with great satisfaction.

Thank you TSG helping me bring back feelings that has made this game
very memorable again and just plain enjoyable. TSG is practically my
second home, For me, their is just nothing that compares to the quality and
craftsmanship of the JDM clubs. Just something special. I enjoy reading and
participating with all the folks here. Thanks to all you folks and keep up
the great work.
