I had a chance to play with a J spec High Bore XL driver last week. It was a 9 degree with a stock Graphite Design OEM stiff shaft. The shaft is a mid kick light weight in the low 50s g. The club is suprisingly easy to hit, staight and very forgiving. It is just as long if not longer than my Epon that day. Since it was a 9 degree, the ball fight is mid and the stock shaft was very responsive and gave a nice draw if you put a fair enough swing to it.

If I can get over the shape of the club head, I would buy this in a heartbeat. The price is very reasonable locally (I am in Hong Kong at the moment) and would recommend it (J-spec) to anyone looking for a forgiving driver or a back up that would not break your bank account account.

(FYI, the driver belongs to a 7 hdcp player and his complaint was that it is difficult to work the driver as it just goes one direction-straight.)
