i am doing a quick reveiw of the time i have spent with these wedges. frankly speaking these wedges are more premium than most of the wedges i have tried so far. the build and craftsmanship are one of the best i have seen and the overall feel is very good. one thing i noticed is that despite the armqb4 shafts, the sw is still d2.

overall performance is great but i did notice that it is very very forgiving. off center shots still produced playable shots and distance lost was about 20% but in the general direction you aimed at. what i also liked is that the wedge was very vesatile and could be opened up depending on lie and situation although do not open the sw too much as i have discovered the hard way. one thing i did not like though is the feel of the shafts. i am a feel wedge player and would have preferred a steel shaft in this one as well as something much stiffer. half shots were ok its the full shots i noticed were not working for me with this particular shaft. also the grooves on these wedges do not produce much spin. you must be a very skilled player to do so which unfortunately i am not.

so my general opinion is, not bad for wedges that came with the set. but i wouldnt buy these on their own. i felt like they were easily bottom of my top 5 wedges. chikara, ping mbtour, cleveland 588dsg, katana i830 and finally the beres.

What is it about the shafts C? To soft and light? You said you don't like the feel, how so? I saw a set of B54 R flex shafts that I might grab...

T the shafts are not that light, i have no way of knowing the actual weight of the shafts but all i can say at d2 these easily feel as weighty as my other wedges but much softer. i guess its the shaft, i play my wedges stiff. if these were stiffer they would immediately bump up to top 3
