chris... when i got that gss, i was amazed at crown's square dots...crown dots are normally three or seven...

also they are normally round...

well...this kind of stuffs are not for the regular golfers...just for scotty's fan... (IMG:http://www.tourspecgolf.com/forum/style_emoticons/TSG_Smileys/atsg_smilie_roll.gif)

now...red dots and slit line combo( gold's factory) works better, feel better and sounds much better... (IMG:http://www.tourspecgolf.com/forum/style_emoticons/TSG_Smileys/tsg_smilie_surprise.gif)

That's a beautiful GSS. If you ever decide to part with it, I'm interested as well.

The golds is a modified private stock 1. GSS is possible you are aware its simply heat treated SS303 correct?

Heat treated before the forging? How hot? I imagine it is not just barbeque type heat and you would need special equipment.
