I picked up a 9.5* TS 435cc X Drive with a Tour AD PT-6 S-flex for a good price (the one with the single weight in the back)...i hit the crap out of the thing and love the shaft...

problem is, i feel like i should be getting 5 ot 10 more yards of carry with how well i am hitting the ball, compared to how i hit my 9.5 SQ Tour with a stiff diamana...

the ball flight is a little lower than usual with the tourstage...

anyone think i should go up to a 10.5*...does the TS play a little low?

What it plays is true to loft.

Most domestic Drivers have more loft than stated.
The Japanese models tend to run true to labeling.

I like the lower ball flight of the Tourstage Drivers. Keeps the ball out of the wind.

Put a Axiv shaft in that Puppy and the ball flight will be higher, or get the 10.5* Driver for higher ball flight.

If you want to raise the ball flight you'll probably be looking at one of the Axiv's with low kick. A 6568L will have similar weight and torque to the PT-6 and with some nice kick.

Another option is to go with a Mach Line Proto 7080 Stiff.... that is a VERY balanced shaft with a low kick and and maybe even longer than the Axiv.

Another option is to get another Diamana 83 stiff if your SQ Tour was working well.

TS X series drivers do play much more true to loft than most drivers.

As for shafts, I haven't hit the 435 with an Axiv, but a low kick Axiv would raise your launch, as would a Diamana Red.

As well as true loft, X-Drives are low spinning, needing faster swingspeeds to generate lift.
I use a 10.5 435 X-drive with a Diamana Red, it doesn't balloon, a great combo (for me)

i have ot preface tihs with i am a 20 handicap, playing golf for only about 2 years, and I took last year off...

i am KILLING this driver...

i played today, and hit 8/10 faireways and the other 2 were only like 10 yards off the fairway...i coulndt believe it...my playing partners were AMAZED!

all shots carryed around 250 or so, rolled to around 275...

and the best part...

VERIFIED...310 yard drive (it was over on a little bit of a downslope with a good 10 mph wind going with me....but still!!! my longest drive ever!!!)

i am still getting a pretty low trajectory, but i dont have ot worry about slices at all...i am sooo comfortable stepping up to the tee with the driver

i think i might stay with what i have and maybe get another one tinker with...i dont want to mess up a good thing....don't want to leave yards on the table after all

whats everyones opinion on 430/460 version>??
