Hello Carlton,
I love the look of the cut in the sole of your wedge. My question is whether that type of grind will effectivly reduce the bound on the sole? I am in the market for a set of three wedges (52, 55, 58) with an bounce of 8 degrees in each. I find this so hard to find in the retail listings as most 56 wedges have 12+ degree of bounce. I do not dig mutch but rather glide thorugh the grass with my swing. Would your grind help me? Also, since more bounce is good out of soft sand, how does your sole grind effect that as well? I am wondering because I really like the look of the grind, I just do not know the true benefits, Aslo I am not very good at opening the face so most of my approach shots I keep the face square or closed, in fairway and sand. Thanks in advance for your guidance. (IMG:http://www.tourspecgolf.com/forum/style_emoticons/TSG_Smileys/tsg_smilie_smile2.gif) Kent |

perhaps you should consider allowing Chris to take pre-orders on your behalf. I, for one, can't wait for the wedges to be released. Ajay |

kent, the 52 will have 8* bounce but the 56,57,58 will have 11*,12*,13* but that is why i cut out the mid bounce. that will help the club to get under the ball faster and cleaner and yet i kept the rear bounce to help you get out of the bunkers. i hope this answers your question. if not then let me know. best regards, TBC Thank you Carlton, I appreciate the feedback & yes you answered my questions |
