By popular demand, we present the Roddio fitting thread!
Our friends at Daiwa partnered with TSG offering insider information and Roddio certified fittings & installation.

Roddio shafts are considered to be one of the longest, most controlled, high tech shafts on the Japanese market.
  • The WA model is for the hard hitter with a fast and powerful motion minimizing spin and lessening pulls left.
  • The BA model is made for the player with more of a smooth, fluid motion. The BA is built for slightly more spin, maximum carry and difficult to push right.

However, there are many things to take into account when choosing a shaft.
Please reply if you would like a fitting from an Roddio shaft expert.

Please provide the following information:
  • Swing Speed (mph or m/s)
  • Driver distance (yds)
  • Tempo (Slow, Reg, Fast)
  • Transition (Smooth, Reg, or Quick)
  • Wrist lag (Minimal or Lots)
  • Usual ball flight (Low, Medium, High)
  • Desired Flight (Low, Medium, High)
  • Desired Weight (60g, 70g, 80g range)
  • Bad shot (Right or Left)
  • Current shaft specs (if available)
  • What are you looking for in a shaft?

Callaway FT-5 9.5* with Axiv V7072 untipped at 46"
tempo: reg
ave carry: 265-280
SS: 110+
Ball speed: 157-162
miss: pull left
ball flight: med
LA: 12-14
spin: 2600

Always Looking for more distance..lol! and slightly higher launch angle 14* and spin around the 2200, but with a good decending angle of attack for roll.

Iam really not sure if I can get any better than ft-5/axiv combo, as it seems to fitting like a glove and I have seen the best accuracy and increased distance and amzing piercing ball flight with terrific decending angle and much more roll....but I'm open to all suggestions!
