IMO this is the best looking driver as far as setup is concerned. Looking down at the Tourstage 430P makes me wanna drool on the club when at address.

Not too bad! (IMG:http://www.tourspecgolf.com/forum/style_emoticons/TSG_Smileys/atsg_smilie_tourstage.gif) Posts like this make me anxious to try one out on the course, soon.

While I'm a bit indifferent about the design when you're looking at the club in the bag, the view at address is fantastic.

I prefer the 460P... a little more muscular looking but still beautiful pear shape... forget about playing a draw with it!! Cut city....

I thought these were ~ square. Are the 'P' models open, or is the weighting set up for a bit of a fade?

Which One??

This is the Driver I'm currently playing.

I love it. Have the Epon 460 and the Tourstage 460 as backups. Both of them are trying to work their way into the first string bag.

When I'm hitting the ball well the shot is a low screamer that fades and rises very gently. Rolls out nicely.

How does the 420 change performance from the 460 head? Are both forged?
What face produces the lowest spin (out of both Technity CC's and both Tourstage CC's)? Thanks man.

The 460p is a limited edition... it has an open face, and internal weighting to a fade bias, and is very low spin... the shaft is a soft x with a low torque, mid kick (based on feel, specs are unpublished). It refuses to go left (obviously, a pull or similiar lousy swing will take you left). The 430p doesn't look deep enough or big enough-- so for the "compact model" lovers this could be the ticket. I actually prefer the 430 (non p) to the 430p. Different strokes... But the Epon is still in the bag and Its my fave as I fiddle with the Tourstages to get the right set-up... (could they become the gamers? maybe), the tourstage are great looking and feeling.

You need serious club head speed to take full advantage of the fade bias X-Drives. When you dont have the speed the ball flight is a low cut, when you do it produces mid to mid/high baby cut's.

I have hit the 460 and both versions of the P, for my 100mph swing speed none of them do as good a job as the EPON. The X-Drive was designed to give optimal spin rates to players who can generate it, Im not one of them.

The GR X-Drive coming in June should be much easier to hit with its non groove face, increased face progression, and more forgiving design. Closer to the EPON imo which is geared toward average to very good players.
