Yururi wedge co. has been in business creating raw grain black forged wedges in Japan for over 5 years. Their most recent releases had me pretty intrigued. The head designer Mr. Keita Miyoshi has also created a Divinci Code wedge made in every measurement conforming to the 1:1.618 rule. For those of you who dont know the theory its the number that creates the best looking proportion to the human eye such as the Venus de Milo ( Aphrodite ), The Pyramids of Egypt, Roman Structures, and the worlds most famous works of art. Its got a rather odd shape but the idea behind it is the first of its kind in the golf industry. (IMG:http://www.tourspecgolf.com/forum/style_emoticons/TSG_Smileys/tsg_smiley_davinci.gif) We will be adding more images over the next few days.

If you have any questions about their wedges or would like to purchase them please let me know.

The rule is actually called the Fibonacci rule. Pretty interesting but doubt it helps with golf club design (IMG:http://www.tourspecgolf.com/forum/style_emoticons/TSG_Smileys/tsg_smilie_surprise.gif)

Hi Chris,

I've seen that Flat-Black blade in person and it looks very nice, but the milling on the wedges with the large number accross the back is unreal!!!

Those Chinese characters are crazy and the sharp detail is amazing!! The meanings corresponds with the type of shot like "attack", "approach", and luck. I'll find out the exacts soon.

Hi TSGirl,

Thanks for the info. Do you have any other pictures of the cavity back irons (sole, leading edge, and face if it has some cool milling marks like the wedges)?

Also, what shaft/s are standard on the wedges?

Cheers.

Nike T100 Hybrid 20*
Tour Blank Proto Blades 3-PW X-100

The cavity back reminds me a little bit of the Srixon I-506, especially the custom ones in Stenson's bag right now. I'd love to see more pics of this iron.

In regards to the Kanji (Chinese characters in gold) the first is "karui" meaning light as in weight. The second is "utsu" as in hit or hitting. The third is "ku" as in section or area. In Japanese, if you pronounced all together it would be "kei-da-ku". This according to my wife (from Japan) but she says this is literal meaning. But when using Kanji characters could be using Chinese meaning which might be different.
