 PGA Tour now on The Golf Channel, What's your take so far? |

Now that the PGA Tour tournaments are being broadcast by The Golf Channel what's your opinion (for those able to get it) on how they're doing so far?
I for one like the idea of being able to it on and see actual professional golf at the highest level and not some informercial about the latest swing gadget. I've found myself watching at different times of the day and am liking what I'm seeing so far. I've enjoyed for years watching the European Tour early in the mornings and now with the PGA tour its simply great. I love watching good golf on thursday and friday but cmon golf channel upgrade to HD like the major networks!

I wish I could watch, out in the sticks where I am from I have to upgrade my cable subscription to digital to get the golf channel. So i don't get it and that really sucks. I suppose I could just upgrade but the benefits do not out way the costs right now. So I am stuck with no golf on thurs or fri..

Actually, on Jan 3rd, Comcast launched The Sports Channel which is an HD broadcasted channel. The Golf Channel and Versus will simulcast on this channel in HD. The unfortunate part is that this channel is not available in certain areas. If you have Comcast, call them and get this channel. |
