Occupation: asst. g.m.
Handicap: 3
Brand of Choice: titleist/callawy

What's in the Bag?:
Driver:Titleist 8.5 905R (V2 75 X-flex), 3wood: Cleveland Comp Ti, Hybrid: Taylormade Rescue 16 degree, 3 iron: Mizuno MP FliHi 21 degrees, Irons (4-PW) Callaway X-20 Tour (project x flighted 6.0), Wedges: Cleveland CG-10 52 degrees/58 (bent 57) degrees, Putter: Odyssey 2-Ball SRT

The titleist 905R gets no respect (2007 hotlist snub). I play a 8.5 with a x-flex V2 75, and I could not ask for more distance. Flies high without dying.

Golf Digest didn't snub the 905R, Titleist didn't want it in the comparison and so never submitted it. They stated that they didn't want it showcased because they said it was better to be custom fit and they didn't feel like the test showcase the custom fitting part of it.

Titleist may not have submitted it but Golf Digest did test the 905R and other Titleist products.

Wow that was the hot list? It seemed more like a list of every driver that is sold at my local golf store.

Amen to that! My 905R 10.5* w/a AXIV 6564 shaft helps me keep up with the "young" guys in my group.
