Hi there,

I just returned from a great trip to Tokyo and while I was there I picked up an Ignite DFI 460 9.5 deg at BIC camera.....I pulled the stock shaft last night and was wondering if this head is .335 or .350?

Thanks for the help....I cant find any specifics on the stock shaft tip diameter anywhere....

0.335 as most Japanese drivers are. Great driver, what shaft are you putting in?

i got mine reshafted, and the clubmaker told me it was .350, I was pretty bummed because I bought a diamana that was .335 to put in it, but I shimmed another shaft and it's worked out pretty well

Hmmm you might be right... I don't have my DFI anymore but I did at one point try a 0.350" Grafalloy shaft in there now that I think about it so it could very well be 0.350. But like you said even at 0.350 you can shim it for all the 0.335 shafts.

Yea its definately .350......all my .335 pulls and new shafts are wayyyyyy to wiggly to attempt to shaft them....So I have to shim it.....looks like my 757 and Diamana 83 pulls are too short....the shafts played 44" in my SQ tour but only plays at 43" in my DFI :(.....So for the time....and old Aldila One will be used.....

The DFI+ shafted with GD M-65 is one one heck of a driver. For reasons I cannot determine, the ball flew even lower than the J33r w/Axiv. BTW, it is .350 because I'd to shim the M-65 to fit. There is a conformed version, the Tour DFI, and I've been searching for one forever.

If you find a pair of them and are willing to sell one, give me a ring (IMG:http://www.tourspecgolf.com/forum/style_emoticons/TSG_Smileys/tsg_smilie_smile2.gif) . Seeing as how finding just one is so difficult though, good luck.
