had the opportunity to hit a few of ACCUFLEX golf's new prototype shafts at the range the other day.. friends with them and so get a call when new sutff is around to test-demo.. so no this is not a commercial but merley a heads up of what is to come.. new shaft > CREATION will be out soon.. tour models on ly right now and getting some play time- last week and this week.. hit the 65 and 80 gram models.. 65 comes in a silver Ion plateing and the 80g is a rust Ion look.. very sleek design.. hit both in a stiff flex.. both are can we say - high launch with the 65 mid low spin and the 80 low spin.. firm tip feel and control but i felt the shaft kick almost - it seemed like - 8'' up the from the tip section to middle of the shaft.. weird but a good weird.. tech specs>> features a long butt parallel section that taprs quickly at the bottom portion of the shaft "tip" area.. "nanomet technology" do not ask me what that means just some verbage i heard being spoke and the company will i'm sure explain more when the time comes.. the $$ will be up there of the $300$400 range i beleave.. again no hard word yet.. but i can see after hitting them for 30minutes and bought one so more play time this weekend.. but i can see putting up the cash for one of these babies.. all i have until i hit them more.. any questions feel free to post i will do my best to answer.. thanks.. chris and others-hope this what you need.. some company jargon of course..
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- the new creation-- features a long butt parallel section that tapers quickly in the bottom portion of the shaft.. this new profile combined with the new "nanomet" technology-nanometal plymer composites- allows for proper weight distribution and variable bending properties throughout the shaft... shaft is finished in japan - do not know what process is done where or 100% hand made.. if more info follows i'll post up... thanks (IMG:http://www.tourspecgolf.com/forum/style_emoticons/TSG_Smileys/atsg_logo_anim.gif) |
