Have the opportunity to get hold of a KZG Gemini 460cc head and looking into shaft options. I have heard that despite it being around for some time, little has come along to surpass the KZG in terms of feel and consistency. I am in the UK and this kind of kit is unheard of!! The usual 5 manufacturers and that is it unfortunately! Some relevant history for you:
- Handicap 4. Driver speed 108mph - Hit the ball high(!!!) and looking to get it down. Used a prolite S35 in a Titleist JVS 9deg and went well. Current driver = Titleist 983E 9.5deg with stock speeder shaft S flex- too high! - Also had TS Z375 9deg with stock TXD shaft- inconsistent! Now the questions! - What size tip for the KZG Gem? - Where does the Prolite Elite shaft come in? Is it just a Prolite35 for bore thro heads? Looks nice! - Another possible purchase is TS X-Drive 9deg with GD AD65 shaft s flex- very tempting? Any thoughts appreciated! |
