Great shaft, I'm not sure I can say the same for the head yet. I need more time with this combo, a few good drives and some low left. I have this configured as 9.5/neutral. Seems to have low spin/launch and likes the left side of the fairway. The fade option might have done the trick in this model. For a 460cc head, the actual face surface seems very small and even though Callaway states this head is 1 degree open I'm not feelin it. I will update you after I can play a round in temps above 40*. I do actually like the blunt feel, I must be weird or something. Very long when struck well.

A friend of mine has a similar setup 10* ft-3 neutral with the 652 in stiff. I must agree on the "very long when struck well." I hit some at my local range and i've never hit that part of the range [the range is into the water so i can see where the ball splashes]. For me I get alittle too high of spin with it but the launch seems high, but a good high. I do know what you are saying about the left issue, i've hit a few 9.5 tours and other loft neutrals but they still seem to want to turn a little. All in all the combo seems to be long, i wasn't too impressed with the head until i tried it with that shaft. Hope you can put together the right combo for yourself.

I will say, it is long. I spent some time at the range today working out the bugs and it's coming around. I'm not giving up on this driver just yet! You are correct, much better club with this shaft, X-flex in particular. Now if I could have your buddies 10* I might be king for a day!

Here's the deal now that I've had a chance to spend time with this driver. Tee it high with a sweeping swing and kill it all day long. Extemely stable and straight. I love it now, period!
