I got a 54 yesterday. The retail Y-cutters DO NOT have milled faces as written on their website.

Maybe that'll be my new 52*. I like one wedge to be black and one Chrome or stainless. So far I have a spin milled wedge, how does this wedge compare?

Hola boyz. From what I've heard, the recently released TM TP Y-Cutter wedges are not as sharp as the ones that were scattered around prior to this first public release. I hear that the satin/chrome finished ones--the older models--trump the just released versions in that their soles are shallower and their grooves MUCH sharper. I happen to own two satins--a 54 forged by Miura and a regular 58. I would appreciate your feedback on the topic, because I'm thinking about acquiring a 52, 56, and 60 of the new ones.

Cheers,

B

NO BAG ADV., but I play:

TM 2004 RAC MIURA coin forged blades 3-PW with Project X 6.5
Diamanna shafts in my woods, R5tp, R715tp, Rescue*19tp
TM Miura y-cutter satin 54
TM y-cutter satin 58
Bettinardi BB1 MIRACLE

Had a look at these the other day, and am very tempted.... really like the look of these, but more importantly for me love the weight in the head..... might think of them when my Srixon's wear out...
