Has anyone hit the Bridgestone J33 Blades or have pictures of them from above? I'd love to see what the topline view looks like. Thanks,

I've never seen so much as a photo of the J33, but for the typical recreational player, Brudgestone's TourStage Synergy looks like a very nice club.
The sole, with its heel and toe relief, is reminiscent of the DCI 962 and the King Cobra II of the 1990s. |

good looking clubs with a thin topline, but most definitely not the easiest to hit on the market, tried it out at a demo day along side many others, was probably the hardest club to hit, but beautiful and most definately for the pure ball striker, and i reiterate the pure

Your findings surprise me. I've played a bunch of clubs over the past two years and the J33 Combos are probably the easiest to hit...

yeah, i'm most definately talking about the blades, i do believe that was the title of the thread, but i may be wrong, but the combos are stout, those were probably the highlight of the very same demo day that i am refering to

I finally demo'ed the J33B's last weekend. I disagree with Toshman, they are not hard to hit well. They are a compact, thin topline, minimal offset blade. I hit shots (3-P) for over an hour and found it difficult to not hit these well. I even purposely hit heel, toe and thin shots but got suprisingly good results. They reminded me alot of my '76 wilson Staff blades. Very soft, very solid, easy to work shots and knock-down......

I ordered 3-PW with X100 a few weeks ago but never got to hit them. I had to sell them on eBay within days of receiving the set to pay off a tax debt....arghhhh! They looked gorgeous and I can only imagine how good they must feel to hit. :fever:

bridgestone use J33B name in the US and sell them under Tourstage brand in asia model X-Blade. They are identical except for the shaft offering. There is also another model called X-Blade CB (cavity back) which is the same as the J33 Combo from 3-7 irons and continue to have cavity back through PW.
I tried both blade and cavity back and have very good result. very solid and soft feel. I like the blade better in driving rang but on the course, blade might be a bit harder to hit. I wish they have the combo set as they do in the US. I'm also considering buying the cavity back model and shaft it with rifle project X. |

I ended up buying the J33B's (4-PW w/TT DG S300) after testing them. These are simply the best irons I've ever played with.
Appearance: These irons are very clean, with a thin topline and minimal, minimal offset. The topline profile is also not long by today's oversized standards. The toe is neither too round or square, but with just the right shape to give the player a slight open appearance. They just scream "good shot" addressing the ball!! Feel: The 1020 steel is simply very solid and soft to hit. I have yet to experience the sting of mis**t blades. Maybe it's the 1020 steel, but the vibration frequency seems a lower pitch, without losing anything in the feel department. Performance: These are very easy to hit shots with, hitting different trajectories and curves. I also have found the compact profile difficult to mis**t. I had previously played forged CB's (Miz MP-30's and Hogan midsized forged GCDs) but these are a more solid, softer feel. The general design and weighting really give the player versatility in terms of shaping the shots without any distance lost in comparison to CBs. Overall I couldn't be happier with this purchase. While the J33 Combo's have gotten the press, if you're looking for blades you have to try these. |

I have a set if you would be interested in purchase. 8.5/10, S-300's (2-PW). I ordered custom set of Mizuno's so need to sell these. Scarey but I think the Bridgestones feel softer than my new 37's!
