Has anybody tried the new Tour B330 S ball. I have used the Tour B330 and didnt really like it. The S is susposed to be softer around the greens and it has a red number. I saw them the other day.

I played this ball on Sunday, and it's the best ball I've EVER used. Spins like the old Prov1 around the greens, with distance just a hair shy of the B330, with a slightly higher trajectory than the B330.
It's so consistent around the greens it's not even funny. I used to get occasional bad chips with the Prov models because occasionally I'd catch it on the seam and it wouldn't quite check right. Since there is no seam on the Bridgestone models, I don't have that problem with these. All my buddies are switching to this ball. They can't believe how great it is,a nd it's cheaper than the Prov's Try it, they are awesome. I'm officially off all Titleist balls. |

I just used them for the first time today, and equalled my personal best at a course that usually beats me up. I didn't do a side by side 330/33S comparison, but the 330 S seems very long off the driver and fairway woods; I don't think I'm giving up much if any distance for my 95-98 mph driver swing. Where it is far better for me is with the short irons, wedges, and greenside work. I get a lot more spin, and the ball checks up better than the 330 for me. It seems softer off the putter face, too; not clicky like the 330. I played the entire 18 holes with 2 balls, and they show no sign of significant wear. (I don't spin the ball like crazy, but my wedges and short irons usually back up a bit or just stay put.)
I'm playing again tomorrow, but I think I've found a winner for a ball here with the 330 S. |

played two days this weekend and put the two balls verse each other on both days.. 1st the durabilty issue has been resolved and did'nt mare or cut either ball.. the only main difference i got was on approach shots and chip shots.. much more action and control from the new b330s-- hit and spin backwards-sideways etc.. or just hit and sit* and i have never been or maybe had the game to hit such shots.. solid driver and putter feel - much like the b330 just more repsonive around the green...

I've now played 3 rounds on the 330-S. I've equalled my personal best on 2 of the 3 rounds. I've played all 3 rounds on the same 2 balls and after the third round they're just showing a bit of wear. I'm really sold on these balls.
(I should have beaten my personal best (79) yesterday. I choked.....I was one over after 10 holes, then gave up 6 strokes in the final 8 holes, including 2 double bogies. Oh well.......there's always next time......) |

Was given a couple of sleeves to try by a local dealer, and finally got to try them yesterday. For me this is the perfect ball, having the best aspects of both the V1X and V1 in one ball. A nice bonus was the durability... even after playing a full round and many shots with my spin mill vokeys the ball still looks new. Performance, durability and at 29 bucks a dozen this is pretty much a no-brainer.

They are $40 eveywhere I look and that includes the internet. I would love to have them for $29 anyday. Best ball on the US market at the moment. Now that Bridgestone makes a ball that doesn't cut to s**t, they are going to go places.

Local Chicago guy always gives me great deals... I'll ask him tomorrow if that is the price for everyone. I'll let you know. |

It's a good ball much better then the B330, the 330 was hard a clicky. But I will stick with the Pro V1 and the X right now because of a titleist ball deal. Cant beat the Pro V and X IMO. And that's the wholesale price on those balls, so if you can get them that way, scoop them up because the dealer is not making a cent.
