QUOTE (ChocolateBoy)
which one is better and why?

OMFG i have played both but i haven't really put anythought on which one was better. well off the bat the ONE gold is 10X more durable than the Blackmax. The Gold plays very well i like it alot . the balckmax plays very very very similiar to the prov-1 and prov-1x. I like them equality but like in the presidents cup there has to be a winner..........I would say the one gold. But only because it has gold sparkles in the paint job. But both of these balls are awsome its just what you perfer and whats better on your wallet :money:

PS Black max's are really really low priced at the moment so i would take advatage if your gonna try them

I, too, have played them both this season.

Very Good Balls. Maxfli felt a little harder off the putter, but sounds great off the irons. The One Gold, buttery soft feel to it, and spins nicely. Maxfli just spins a little too much for me. Currently, I am playing a Callaway HX Tour 56. SPINS LIKE CRAZY!

For the 2006 golf season, I will be using the 2006 version of the Pro V1.
