Finally, got one of these bad boys a week ago.

After trying the Bobby Grace, I fell in love with the alignment, balance and the feel....but the insert made distance control something to be desired.

I figured the MacGregor version, with the metal insert would be the preferred option here.

Unfortunately, getting them turned out to be the ordeal from hell.

They are sold out everywhere and the Mac Rep said at first they were estimating a Feb release date...now they're talking May.

After a few unusual deals with a collection of nefarious charactors, it finally arrived.

It's a beauty.

Not nearly as large as people would think...the head is actually 3-7/16" x 3-1/5"...but it is heavy, but due to the balance, you don't FEEL like it's heavy.

It lines up beautifully, perfectly balanced and it's literally a point and shoot device now.

I am fully aware that EVERY putter has a "Honeymoon Period"...and so, while I LOVE what I'm experiencing now. I know that it can be temporary.
