Yonex is proud to introduce their all new EZONE Forged Wedge for 2011. With over a years worth of design and consulting by top Japanese tour wedge guru Yuuji Miyagi, the new EZONE was released this year as Ryo Ishikawa's gamers. Miyagai-san the former founder of Cool Design and MTI Wedge worked with Ishikawa and Yonex to create a tour worthy wedge in design and performance.
Rounder leading edge edge helps minimize any offset and create cleaner entry into the turf followed by a clean exit due the trailing edge relief. Higher bounce makes the wedge versatile and forgiving in any lie, rough or sand and gives it the ability to make more pure contact resulting in more spin.
Miyagi-san continues to follow both Ryo Ishikawa and Maiko Wakabayashi on the Japanese tour providing grind adjustments and collecting sole data to optimize the EZONE design.
The EZONE forged from S25C steel and with USGA conforming grooves is now available as head only or with NS Pro 950GH and DG Shafts.
