Yamaha introduces its all new Inpres X V Forged Tour Model Limited iron for 2012. The V Forged irons are premium forged from S20C steel at Endo. The Tour Model is aimed at pro players to lower handicappers looking for premium feel and control.

The compact cavity back features a thinner topline and sole as well as minimal offset. Sharper lines and boxier toe allow players to work the ball for maximum spin control and direction. The new 2012 model increases spin and bit by adding a new X milled face for additional friction. The meat of the cavity is moved up higher to raise the CG point and create a stable and stronger trajectory.

The V Forged Tour Model is best know for its soft feel and top notch accuracy.

The Tour Model is a limited edition with only 1200 sets made for all of Japan. The standard shaft is DG S200 and the standard set makeup is 5-PW.

Unfortunately all standard shafted DG S200 sets were sold out even before the November 19th, 2011 launch.

However, Yamaha has set aside heads for custom orders and is still booking these custom orders which will launch begin shipping about 14 days after the launch date.
