Yamaha has redesigned all its irons for the 2010 season. The all new Inpres X V Forged is the compact players cavity that combines feel, control plus forgiveness and ease of use. This premium forged super soft S20C iron has minimal offset and a thin topline and sole. It is aimed at the good ball striker and low handicapper wanting a control iron but some forgiveness as well. The long irons 3-5 iron have 4 grams of tunsten forged into the sole to help launch. The toe and heel area of the cavity have weight removed that is pushed lower in the head for a low CG. Yamaha has redsigned the head to create more launch than the 2009 model and MORE spin for those soft landings and pin approaches. The V Forged is 2010 approved but is still able to spin more than previous years models. The V Forged comes standard with DG S200 or NS Pro 1050Gh Stiff or NS Pro 950GH Stiff. The standard graphite upgrade is Graphite Design's Tour AD AD-75 (in EV Series colors). Extra irons are available an an extra charge.
