Taylormade Japan introduces their all new R9 SuperMax irons for 2010 Fall season! The new SuperMax is a mid sized iron packed with forgiveness and distance performance. Made for those looking to play an iron with reasonable size, ie not to big and not too small, the R9 SuperMax has a mid sized head with medium top line and sole and some offset. It's super strong lofts, a 23* 5 iron create amazing distance for the average golfer.

The Supermax is an advanced inverted cone design feature 2 piece 4-7 irons with a hollow cavity and special foam and plug to create feel, low spin and high ball speeds. The long and mid irons are made for maximum carry and distance performance. The short irons feature a 1 peice design with an undercut cavity creating a huge sweet spot. The short irons are made for attacking the pin with accuracy and control even on shots off center.

The new R9 SuperMax iron comes with NS Pro 950GH steel shafts as standard spec. An all new Japan SuperMax Motore 55 graphite shaft is available as an upgrade.

A 4 iron and AW and SW are also available at additional costs.
