Srixon Japan introduces their all new Z-TX Fairway Wood. Srixon has increase feel and stability by actually making the face thicker and increasing face area by 15% over the previous model. Center of gravity has been lowered by 2mm increasing launch. MOI is up 3% thanks to a wing shaped weight distribution on the sole. The Z-TX FW is based on design input from Jim Furyk and Tommy Nakajima and features an easier to square up face thanks to a straight leading edge. Srixon has merged a soft SUS630 face with a strong and great feeling specially forged Custom 455 maraging face. The Z-TX fW is available with different stock shafts, the SV-3020J T-55, a mid kick 55-57g range shaft with mid torque and a heavier SV-3020J T-65 mid/high kicking shaft in the 63-67g range with low torque for lower more stable trajectory. X Flex is a special order and takes 2-3 weeks. The Z-TX Fairway Wood will be released on September 12th 2009 so any orders before then will be considered pre-orders. |
