Quadra introduces its new top of the line model for 2012, the Fire Express Max WBQ. A full length 80t carbon shaft, the FEX Max WBQ features a new 4 x 4 axis cross weave for additional stability and control.
The new Max 65 is a strong distance shaft with added stability thanks to the double 4 axis weave. Lower torque and a mid kickpoint provide low spin and a mid trajectory ball with a focus on high energy return and big carry and run.
The new Max 75 features the same double 4 axis cross weave but also adds a metal fiber tip and ultra low torque for unparalled distance stability for harder hitters and faster swingers.
Both models are 0.335" tip siz. The Max 65 is available in Stiff/Regular, S, SX, X and Pro X flexes ranging from 68g to 70g and 3.4* to 3.1* of torque.
The Max 75 is available in S, SX, X and Pro X flexes ranging from 77g to 80t and 2.9* to 2.6* of torque.

Quadra Composite Techno is a very high end graphite and carbon shaft maker who have long been involved in the golf shaft and carbon sheets business.
Quadra as you can tell by their name, means 4 and they were the first brand to create the quad axis weave used in many shafts from many different brands today including Axiv, Honma and Graphite Design today.
They produce such high quality carbon that they actually supply carbon sheets to some of the top brands including Honma's ARMRQ which also feature the 4 axis weave in their shafts.
Quadra has spent the last few years growing and developing their own shaft line and what many people outside of Japan may not know is that Quadra is actually frequently in the top 4 brands in sales in Japan battling the likes of Graphite Design, Mitsubishi and Fujikura. |
