PRGR introduces its all new 2010 USGA groove conforming wedge, the TR Wedge. The TR Wedge is premium forged from soft JIS S20C steel by Endo Japan. It features a long and straight neck with a compact head. The head is more tear drop shaped but with slightly sharper toe like the TR500 Limited iron. The primary focus of the TR Wedge is feel and spin control. The grind is versatile allowing it to be opened up when needed yet able to aim straight at the pin in any lie. The center of gravity is shorter to allow for a more controlled stable trajectory that increases spin. The new TR Wedge is available in 50/6 52/8 56/13 58/12 and 60/8 lofts with either DG S300 (118g 105mph or more) shaft or PRGR Spec Steel II in an M-43 Flex (98g 95-105mph). Please note 50 56 and 60 are available now. 52 and 58 begin shipping on February 13th, 2010. |
