Mizuno Japan is proud to introduce their all new premium forged MP C11 Wedge. The MP C11 features USGA conforming grooves for 2010 and a new "workshop grind style sole". The MP C11 is premium forged from S25CM Mild Steel for top notch feel. The MP C11's sole looks more like a custom workshop grind rather than a mainstream wedge. The multi grind sole is ultra versatile and has toe and heel relief as well as a rolled tailing edge that allows you to clean exits through the turf for max spin but a flat sole for forgiveness.
There are actually two types of grooves on the MP C11, the 50 and 52 have deeper grooves to provide best spin with full swings or even 3/4 swings. The 56 and 58 degree wedges feature wider grooves for spin control close to the green and out of the bunkers. The head shape is more like a cavity back to blend in with most CB sets and there is a semi goose neck with offset making this wedge ultra easy to square and make pure contact for all levels of players.
The new MP C11 wedge is available in 50/6 52/8 56/12 58/10 lofts with DG Wedge Flex or NS Pro 950GH Wedge Flex.
The standard lie is 63* but can be customized from Mizuno (takes 3 weeks for custom orders).
