Mizuno Japan introduces it's all new and improved Quad shaft for 2008. Through heavy analysis of flex and swing types and transition at the top, Mizuno offers the the new Quad in two models, the Butt Standard for slow to average tempo swingers and the Butt Stiff for those with fast tempos and aggresive transitions. The Quad which features a special four axis carbon design including double layer carbon and ring patterns to store power and minimize energy loss.  Made to pair well with the new large 460cc heads available today, the two different models feature different stiffness throughout the shaft to match the players swing tempo allowing him or her to square the face on impact with full energy transfer from the swing. On the heavier and stiffer flex Quads for quick tempo players, Mizuno has paired the stiff butt with stiff tip for max control and to help reduce balls going left.
