Honma introduces its all new MG710 Driver for 2010!! The new MG710 has a premium forged face that provides maximum distance plus superior feel.
This model retains all the previous model's advantages while at the same time boasting even better carry. A slimmer, sleeker forged face and a new "bazooka rib" design efficiently convey power to the ball on impact. The result: carry that far outdoes previous models!
The 6-4Ti forged steel face yields even greater kickback and a lower center of gravity.
An overhaul of this head yielded extraneous weight. Redistributing this weight close to the heel, this gravity point design is made to hug the ball. This lightweight driver is made to go long and far!
Order Options: The MG710 Driver is available in 9 and 10* lofts. Honma offers three shafts for three different head speeds (the HD54 H/S 95-101 for faster head speeds, the HD49 H/S 86-95 for average head speeds, and the UD45 H/S 77-86 for slower head speeds). There's one that's perfect for you! The flexes avaialble are Stiff & Reg flex.
* Honma also offers ARMRQ UD shafts made to order.

HONMA STAR RATING SYSTEM AND WHAT IT MEANS:
What is the difference between the 2, 3, 4, & 5 star shafts?
It is difficult for the average golfer to consistently hit a ball at the sweet spot. When the ball is hit at another point, the club head is not as stable and the shot will not be the best distance and not as straight. The higher grade shafts (based on # of Stars) help stabilize the club head more than lower grade shafts even when the ball is hit outside the sweet spot. This promotes more consistent good shots even with inconsistent golf swings.
PGA or JPGA Tour professional players use the same quality as 5 Star grade shaft.
The star rating system used by Honma determines the seniority of the craftsman who builds the club as well as the quality and type of materials used for that specific shaft. 3, 4 and 5 star are built by more senior Honma craftsman and 4 and 5 star make use of T-1000 grade composite, the highest quality carbon available on the commercial market. Honma uses this system to ensure that their products put workmanship and quality as the number one priority. With superior materials and master craftsmanship, Honma stands behind their product stating that the quality will last a lifetime.
