2010 was the year of high grade and high modulus carbon shafts paving the way for premium performance in the Japanese market. Geotech Golf, the number one components company in Japan has joined the competition by creating a new XDB line of high modulus shafts all hand rolled and made in Japan of premium high grade carbon. The higher the quality carbon the tighter the dispersion due to its consistent rebound and flex. Higher grade carbon also contains more glass materials rather than rubber also contributing to the quality and the feel of this strong shaft.
The XDB65 FW is a low spin, tight dispersion, mid launching high modulus combination Fairway Wood shaft made of a special 4 axis carbon weave in the butt and 50t in both the mid and tip section. This special design creates the best of both worlds when it comes to distance and control. The 4 axis weave creates stable control and direction with minimal deformation of the shaft while producing maximum energy transfer through the 50t mid and tip section. The XDB65FW is for all players looking for a distance control premium FW shaft. The Butt section provides a firm feel for a sense of stability but you can feel the head accelerating through the hitting zone with a strong kick thanks to the strong unloading of the 50t mid and tip area.
The XDB65 FW is available in White/Orange or a Dark Wine Red finish with a low mid kick.

XDB65FW Regular 66g, 3.8* TQ, 88-96mph
XDB65FW Stiff/Regular 68g, 3.8* TQ, 94-102mph
XDB65FW Stiff 71g, 3.8* TQ, 100-108mph
The XDB65 is 0.335" tip and comes in a raw uncut length of 44". It should be tipped in 0.5" increments as you progress through each wood loft ie 0.5" for the 3W, 1.0" for the 5W etc.
