Geotech Golf's SP lineup is their entry level line for those looking for top notch performanc on a more reasonable budget. The new SP driver lineup is broken up into 3 all titanium models:
450SP Type R
Conforming 450cc, draw biased head, traditional shape, high back, deep face, 194g head, 0.335" hosel, 8.5* (open 0.5*), 9.5* (0*), 10.5* (closed 0.5*), 11.5* (closed 1.0*), 12.5* (closed 1.0*)
430SP Type R
Conforming 430cc, straight/neutral biased head, traditional shape, semi high back, mid-deep face, 194g head, 0.335" hosel, 8.5* (0*), 9.5* (0*), 10.5* (0*), 11.5* (0*)
450SP Alpha-Spec
NON-Conforming 450cc, 0.87COR, draw biased head, traditional shape, high back, deep face, 194g head, 0.335" hosel, 9.5* (0*), 10.5* (closed 0.5*), 11.5* (closed 1.0*)
The 430 is the more compact model of the 3 however at address it appears larger as the head is not as high back as the 450 model meaning its more flattened/shallow back style. The 430 has a 3mm shallower face than the 450.
However the 430 is the straight/neutral biased driver that can go straight or fade while both 450 drivers are designed for a soft draw.
Geotech promotes the 3 as follows: SP430 for those wanting more control and workability, SP450 a balance of control and distance, SP450 Alpha Spec a focus on distance performance.
This listing is for the conforming 450SP Type R head only with headcover. The hosel is 0.335".
