Introducing the new 2010 Epon 210KGX Wedge, a high precision wedge forged from soft Japan Industry Standard S20C steel. The new 210KGX features 2010 conforming grooves made for maximum spin and durability. Epon achieves this by using a laser to harden the shoulders or edges of the grooves maintaining soft feel but producing optimal spin. The grind of the 210KGX features lots of heel relief enabling a player to keep the leading edge straight and aimed at the target even with the face open. The CG is placed higher in the wedge to promote a lower trajectory with heavy spin for control and stability.
The swing weight will typically fall around D4 if the wedge is chosen with standard specs and DG Shaft. Swingweight will vary depending on length chosen and shaft. As a guide, each half inch over standard will increase SW by 3 points and vice versa for each half inch under standard. Standard steel shafts are DG S200 with KBS, Nippon, Shimada and other top shafts also available as options. All Epon wedges are fully customizable including loft, lie, shaft and length.
