Epon introduces it's all new AF-101 precision forged driver for 2008. Through feedback from its customers as well as intensive research and development, Epon has developed an all new head with all around increased MOI and maximum USGA conforming spring like effect. The AF-101 possesses a variable thickness hybrid cup face created through a chemical milling process, producing a thicker sweet spot area coupled with a wider thinner perimeter for a slingshot effect. Matched with the AF-101's forged hybrid body, the driver produces wonderful feel with higher ball speeds. The 460cc AF-101 maintains a traditional shape with 4300 horizontal MOI and a large 2922 vertical MOI for more forgiveness with minimal loss on toe and heel shots.
Epon, true to it's quality, provides all sorts of shaft options including custom lengths. In addition to that, unlike any other high end brand, Epon also allows for custom face angle, shaft length at no additonal charge. The standard Face angle for this low spin mid trajectory driver is square for the 9.5* and 0.5* closed for the 10.5* and lofts are true to spec. Swingweight will vary depending on length chosen. As a guide, each half inch over standard will increase SW by 3 points and vice versa for each half inch under standard.
The Epon AF-101 is available in standard finish or black finish head. Please be sure to choose the finish you want to receive.
