Callaway Japan introduces their all new Japan market Legacy Utility!  The new Legacy Utility is part of Callaway Japan's flagship Legacy brand and focuses on ease of use and distance performance.  The Legacy Utility is targeted at average golfers all the way to the better player looking for an easy to launch and good distance utility. The Legacy acheives its ease of use through a shallow head and shallow face design. Callaway also places the CG nice and low and created a face with optimal thickness for feel and high launch angle.  The Legacy Utility is designed with similar offset to an iron (especially the Legacy Forged) to maintain flow with all the clubs. A specially designed sole reduces friction and contact with the ground to maintain energy transfer at impact.

The new Legacy Utility is available in 21, 24 and 27* lofts. The Legacy Utility is available in stiff flex with the lightweight GS95 Steel shaft from True Temper. Regular and Stiff/Regular flex will be Callaway Legacy graphite, a mid kicking 60g shaft.

The Legacy Utility begins shipping  October 1st 2009 so any orders before that are preorders.
