Callaway Golf Japan has released 2 new Legacy models the Type-S (440cc) and the Type L (460cc) Conforming Drivers. This Type S Driver was designed for the better driver of the ball. It sits at a compact 440cc head volume made of Forged Titanium for the ultimate soft feel. Behind the sweet spot the Hyperbolic cup face technology has been updated for more forgiveness. The face features a new hot forging technique that makes the wall ultra thin minimizing energy loss and increasing energy transfer and flex from the face. The complete redesign of the head using new techniques has allowed Callaway the luxury of repositioning weight in the optimum areas to produce powerful and penetrating shots. This is a good driver for people who desire a medium ball flight, strong piercing trajectory, and pear shape soft forged Titanium feel. Produced using the New forged hyperbolic EFL Titan Cup Face like the Type-S Driver. This new face technology is only seen in the Legacy Type S and Type L currently. Order Options: The Type-S is available in 8.5, 9.5, and 10.5 lofts. The standard shaft SPEED AMORPHOUS Z is available in Stiff, Stiff/Reg, and Reg flex at 45" in length. Upgrade shafts is a special order and may take 2 weeks to ship if it is not in inventory. Mamiya ATTAS 6, Graphite Design TOUR AD DI-6, and Diamana 'Ilima 60 all in Stiff flex is an available option in the Options above. |
